Verizon Brings Media and Entertainment Companies Together at NAB on April 12 to Discuss ‘Game-Changing Economics: The Future of Digital Media’

BASKING RIDGE, N.J., April 7, 2011 — In conjunction with the NAB Show in Las Vegas, Verizon will host a panel, “Game Changing Economics: The Future of Digital Media,” to discuss the challenges and opportunities associated with content-to-consumer experiences in today’s connected world. J. Max Robins, vice president and executive director for The Paley Center for Media, will moderate the session featuring senior executives from CBS, Hearst Magazines, Rovi Corporation, Technicolor, Turner Broadcasting and Verizon.

WHAT:
Consumer demand is increasing for premium video content across every screen – from smart phones to tablets to HD 3D home theaters. And the challenge of delivering and capitalizing on digital content is increasing as well. The session will address the changing digital landscape and new digital management and distribution strategies that can boost revenue streams while controlling costs to keep pace with a rapidly evolving marketplace.
