Sony Creative Software Releases New Update for Vegas™ Pro
Award-Winning NLE Improves Closed Captioning, Adds Support for GPU Rendering on AMD ATI Graphic Chipsets, and Adds 3D Blu-ray Disc™ Timeline Burning Capability for Complete 3D Solution
LAS VEGAS, April 11, 2011 — [NAB Show – Booth #C11001] – Sony Creative Software, a leading provider of professional video and audio editing applications, today announced the availability of Vegas™ Pro 10.0d. The award-winning NLE now includes improved closed captioning options, comprehensive 3D solutions, support for AMD’s ATI graphics chipsets using OpenCL™ as well as an improved track group workflow.
Vegas Pro 10.0d’s enhanced closed captioning support now provides broadcast editors with the ability to read and write closed captioning embedded in MPEG-2, enabling a unified workflow for EIA-608, EIA-708 and MXF delivery options. Furthering the software’s superior editing flexibility, Vegas Pro 10.0d incorporates timeline burning to full-frame 3D Blu-ray Discs. These updates allow media creators to efficiently produce and quickly prepare content for DVD and 3D Blu-ray titles and deliver compelling content for broadcast and broadband distribution, theatrical releases and YouTube™ 3D.

Additional updates include MVC and MPO 3D file format compatibility from Sony cameras including TD10, NX3D1, TD300 and the Alpha and NEX series, providing users with added support for advanced camera and media technologies.
