Customers Praise Performance, Availability and Speed
“The Atmospheric Imaging Assembly imposed novel requirements on the data processing and distribution we use to improve our understanding of the physics behind the activity displayed by the Sun’s atmosphere,” said Dr. Neal Hurlburt, from the Lockheed Martin Solar and Astrophysics Laboratory, NASA. “The enhanced bandwidth of the new PROMISE systems at a lower effective price point makes our transactions of the sun’s atmosphere both manageable and affordable. It dropped right into our existing SAN based on the previous generation.”

“PROMISE has provided us a comprehensive solution with unmatched performance, availability and speed for our massive archival project,” said Matt Winston, co-founder, Stan Winston School of Character Arts. “We have implemented VTrak x30s into the heart of our workflow, allowing us to expand our capability as a virtual school, while simultaneously giving us a robust and secure solution for our priceless film archives.”

“We have trusted Promise for years as our provider of high end storage, so when the new x30 series was announced, it was a very easy decision for us to upgrade,” said Marc Zeltzer, director of technology, Oasis Imagery. “We can trust that Promise delivers the high-quality performance and stability that our clients demand in the most advanced 2D and 3D stereoscopic workflows.”
