SAN FRANCISCO–Related Content Database, Inc. (RCDb), a leader in video engagement solutions, today announced that media industry innovator Richard Fisher has joined its board of directors. For the past four years, Fisher has served as president and CEO of Premier Retail Networks, Inc. (PRN), a global leader in digital place-based media services that is a division of Technicolor. Fisher is a veteran of the media and content distribution industries and an early executive at HBO. RCDb also announced that Gerard Kunkel has joined its Board of Advisors.

Fisher has more than 25 years of experience in building successful media networks. Prior to PRN, he was CEO of eMotion, a provider of software services for digital asset management that was sold to Corbis. Previously, he was president of Respond TV, founder and COO of the technology cable network ZDTV (name changed to G4/TechTV with the sale to Comcast), and served in strategic marketing, sales and management for Chronicle Broadcasting and HBO.
Kunkel is currently Media Strategy Advisor for the Interactive Entertainment Business division of Microsoft. Prior to Microsoft, Kunkel served as an executive at Comcast Cable, where he was senior vice president, user experience and product design. There he pioneered and established the Comcast User Experience department (CUE) and helped to bring together the product designs of Comcast’s video, voice, and data product offerings.
