DTS Chairman and CEO Jon Kirchner Named to the Producers Guild of America’s 2011 ‘Digital 25’ List
First Audio Company Recognized as Emerging Leader for Advancing Digital Entertainment Industry
CALABASAS, Calif.–Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Jon Kirchner of DTS, Inc. (Nasdaq: DTSI), a leader in high-definition audio technology, joins 2011 “Digital 25: Leaders in Emerging Entertainment” honorees, named by the Producers Guild of America (PGA) in association with Variety and in partnership with Digital Hollywood. The “Digital 25” awards recognize visionaries who make significant contributions to the advancement of digital entertainment and storytelling. Kirchner’s inclusion marks the first time a dedicated audio company appears on the list; additional 2011 honorees include actors Zach Galifianakis and Zooey Deschanel, musicians Alicia Keys and Lady Gaga, Pixar’s Sharon Calahan, and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment’s John Calkins.
