ENTERTAINMENT MERCHANTS ASSOCIATION RE-APPOINTS SIX COMPANIES TO SERVE ON ITS BOARD
DISH Network, Giant Eagle, Rain City Video, Redbox, Rentrak, and Target To Be Represented
ENCINO, CA (July 18, 2012) … The Board of Directors of the Entertainment Merchants Association’s (EMA) has unanimously reappointed DISH Network, Giant Eagle, Rain City Video, Redbox Automated Retail, Rentrak Corporation, and Target Corporation to serve on its Board for the next three years, the trade association announced today. The six corporations join Amazon.com, Best Buy Co., Emerald City Video, GameFly, GameStop Corporation, Hastings Entertainment, Ingram Entertainment, Netflix, Toys “R” Us, Trans World Entertainment, Video Headquarters, and Wal-Mart Stores on the trade association’s board.
In addition, Bob Geistman (Ingram Entertainment) has been re-elected to a eighth consecutive term as Chairman of EMA. The Board selected John Marmaduke (Hastings Entertainment, Inc.) to serve as Vice Chairman, Bruce Eisen (DISH Network) to serve as Secretary, Marty Graham (Rentrak Corporation) to serve as Treasurer, and Mike Gimlett (GameFly, Inc.) to serve as an at-large member of EMA’s Executive Committee. All the Executive Committee members were elected unanimously.
