Time Warner Cable announced that beginning April 9, customers will be able to view daily highlights from this year’s Masters Golf Tournament in 3D on demand.

According to the statement, on demand highlights will be available for viewing until April 30. Customers must have 3D TVs and a Time Warner Cable HD box with HDMI output in order to view the daily highlights. Time Warner Cable will also be hosting private viewing parties of The Masters in 3D three markets: Charlotte, NC, San Diego, CA, and New York City, NY.

The Masters coverage and these viewing parties will provide a good test for the future rollout of 3D TV in our footprint,” said Melinda Witmer, Executive Vice President of Programming for Time Warner Cable.
