MEDIA-TECH Association Readies 2014 Conferences

The MEDIA-TECH Association announced that it is organizing the annual Colonial Purchasing Meeting (April 8-9) and will hold its flagship European conference on June 3rd and 4th.

The MEDIA-TECH Association will organize Conferences in Europe and the US in 2014

•    Conferences in Las Vegas, Hamburg and Kahl am Main
•    Partnership with Colonial Purchasing Group is strengthened
•    Bryan Ekus, long-time General Manager, stepped down as of December 31, 2013

Kahl am Main, January 13, 2014 – The MEDIA-TECH Association intensifies its cooperation with the Colonial Purchasing Group in 2014 and organizes the annual Colonial Purchasing Meeting with the Colonial Purchasing Group at the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas on April 8 and 9, 2014. This year’s Media-Tech/Colonial conference in Las Vegas takes place in the course of the trade fair of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), a trade convention with more than 1,500 companies from the media and entertainment sectors.

In Europe, the Media-Tech conference from June 3 and 4 is already held for the third time at the Mövenpick Hotel in Hamburg. Amongst others, the focus of this conference will be topics such as the new, high-definition 4K television, the further development of the Blu-ray Disc, the licensing as well as current market developments and trends in the media industry. The conference will conclude on June 4 with a members’ meeting and the traditional Media-Tech Golf Cup.

In December 2014, the year will wrapped up with the year-end meeting of the Media-Tech association in the course of the Optical Disc corporate event of the SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG in Kahl am Main on the 3. and 4. of December.
