Sony Music Entertainment UK & Ireland partners with Sony DADC UK for a multi-year full order to cash services contract

London, UK, April 08, 2014 – Sony DADC is delighted to announce a major new contract win in the UK providing industry leading supply chain services from its state-of-the-art Enfield Distribution Centre to Sony Music Entertainment (SME).

The multi-year agreement will see SME take advantage of the innovative supply chain services from Sony DADC’s UK Distribution Centre at Enfield including both physical Pick-Pack-Ship for B2B and B2C solutions, as well as order desk and back-office services from Sony DADC’s Global Platform Services (GPS). GPS is Sony DADC’s integrated platform service offering that manages complete media lifecycle operations for clients and their third-party service providers, in the media and entertainment industries.

SME will benefit from services such as outbound and reverse logistics distribution services and operations. Sony DADC will provide a full order to cash solution comprising credit & cash collection, retail operations and business intelligence in a package which will guarantee a comprehensive, high quality solution for the world’s premier entertainment company. Sony DADC is scheduled to begin operations under this new contract by August 2014.

The excellence of Sony DADC UK was recently recognised by the Institute of Credit Management which awarded the team with the ‘Best Use of Credit Technology’ award at its annual ceremony. In addition, the UK Distribution team based in Enfield won the European Supply Chain Award ‘Team of the Year 2013’.
