DarbeeVision Launches New Digital Video Processor at CEDIA 2014

Demos for Oculus Rift and ‘Destiny’ Provide Immersive Experiences Unattainable in High-Def Applications; New Product Recent Winner of 2014 EXC!TE Award

Orange, CA — September 03, 2014 – At CEDIA 2014, DarbeeVision will launch a new digital video processor that brings unrivaled depth and clarity to home theater installations. Early previews have already earned this product a 2014 EXC!TE Award. Live demos in Booth #772 will also showcase how DARBEE Visual Presence enhances Blu-ray, Oculus Rift and AAA video game applications for consumers.

“High-def is only the beginning,” said Larry Pace, President of DarbeeVision. “With DARBEE Visual Presence (DVP), home theaters can transcend the flat pictures found in even the most high-end of displays. The future of realism favors the natural depth only DVP provides, and it’s available for every kind of digital entertainment.”

A new demo of “Destiny,” from the creators of “Halo,” will give gaming enthusiasts a preview of how Playstation 4 titles can take on a new life with DVP technology. Compatible with 3D, HD and 4K set-ups, DVP’s ability to display the full detail set makes it a must for gamers looking for the cutting edge in immersive experiences.

Five technology partners will also be joining DarbeeVision in their booth to highlight how they’ve incorporated DVP technology in their own applications.

• OPPO Digital: Demoing BDP-103D and BDP-105D Darbee Edition Blu-ray players on a Sony 4K TV

• Galaxy Microsystems: Exhibiting new GTX-750TI Darbee Edition Graphics Card for HTPC and consumer gaming systems

• Avenview: Introducing new DARBEE-enabled Matrix Switcher

• Lumagen: Showing one of their latest DARBEE-enabled upscaling video processors

• Wolf Cinema: Showcasing their DVP-enabled video devices in Sound Room #11

“The most realistic images in the marketplace are being made with DVP,” added Pace. “No matter what the underlying image technology is, no matter what capture, storage, transmission, or display unit a user has, we can work with it to deliver something exciting.”

About DarbeeVision
Formed in 2009 as a privately held company, DarbeeVision Inc. is headquartered in Orange, California. DarbeeVision has developed proprietary technologies that bring a revolutionary level of depth and realism to digital images. By integrating Visual Presence into existing digital image media devices, pictures can be made better than what even the most perfect camera and display can achieve — much better in fact, by using computation to process an image in the same way the brain does, actually helping the eyes see images the way the brain expects them to look. DarbeeVision’s technology is available to OEMs as IP for licensing. For information, call 714-787-1006, email: info@darbeevision.com or visit http://www.DarbeeVision.com.
