Kaleidescape Forges Partnership with 20th Century Fox for Film and Television Titles

Kaleidescape Movie Store will offer a large selection of new releases and classics, in premium quality HD digital download, including 4K Ultra HD with High Dynamic Range

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Feb. 1, 2016  — Kaleidescape, Inc., the leading manufacturer of premium movie players and servers for the home, today announced an agreement with 20th Century Fox to license new releases and catalog of movies and television seasons for digital download and playback on the award-winning Kaleidescape movie players. With the addition of this new content, Kaleidescape has now licensed over 11,000 movies and over 2,000 television seasons from Warner Bros. Digital Distribution, Lionsgate, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, NBCUniversal, The Walt Disney Studios, and now, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment for the Kaleidescape Movie Store. Kaleidescape has also licensed 4K Ultra HD titles with High Dynamic Range from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, and 4K Ultra HD titles from The Orchard, K2 Communications and Moving Art.

This license agreement includes a wide selection of titles, including blockbuster franchises such as “X-Men” and “Die Hard,” and family favorites from DreamWorks Animation including “Madagascar,” “How to Train Your Dragon,” and the Academy Award winning “Shrek.” Other critically acclaimed favorites include “The Sound of Music,” and the 2015 Academy Award winner, “Birdman.” Television series include the “Homeland,” comedy favorite, “How I Met Your Mother,” and the five-time Emmy winner, “Modern Family.”
