Audyssey announced that Denon Electronics has equipped its 2010 line of Audio Video Receivers with the latest Audyssey technologies. Denon’s line-up features major enhancements, such as 3D compatibility and online music streaming along with the Audyssey technologies.
According to the statement, at the top of Denon’s list are the AVR 4311CI and the 3311CI. Both units run the gamut of Audyssey technology and include MultEQ XT, Audyssey Dynamic EQ, Audyssey Dynamic Volume and Audyssey DSX. The units support custom installation and are MultEQ Pro ready enabling installers to use professional microphones and Audyssey MultEQ Pro Software to correct sound distortion caused by irregularities and inconsistencies in the room acoustics.
The inclusion of Audyssey DSX in three of the new models allows adding front height and width channels to a typical 5.1 setup. Adding surround channels in these specific locations creates a more immersive and enveloping soundstage. Audyssey DSX matches human listening perception to provide a better home theater experience.
Audyssey technologies figure prominently throughout the entire Denon line. With the release of numerous new AVRs the inclusion of Audyssey Dynamic EQ, Dynamic Volume, and the standard version of MultEQ help correct problems in sound for a great home theater experience. Audyssey Dynamic EQ helps preserve bass response, surround levels and clarity when music or movies are played at low volumes, while Audyssey Dynamic Volume eliminates spikes for consistent volumes.
