Redbox & Sony Pictures Home Entertainment Announce New Day-And-Date Agreement
CHICAGO and CULVER CITY, Calif., Aug. 24, 2017 — Redbox, America’s leading destination for new-release movie and video game rentals at a great value, and Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE), signed a new distribution agreement making SPHE titles available at Redbox® kiosks the same day as retail sell-through dates.

Under the new deal, SPHE’s titles will be available in Redbox kiosks starting in September.
Redbox is well on its way to having more than 41,500 kiosks nationwide by the end of 2017, with more net new kiosk installations planned in 2018.
