Redbox More Than Doubles Cities With 4K Ultra-HD Rental Availability

4K Ultra-HD Rentals Now Available at Redbox in 15 Cities Nationwide

CHICAGO, March 7, 2019 — Redbox today announced the company has more than doubled the number of cities offering 4K Ultra-HD movie rentals– bringing them to a total of 15 markets. 4K UHD rental pricing is just $2.50 per night.

Movies viewed on 4K UHD at 3840 x 2160 resolution deliver dynamic contrast, superior brightness and richer color than other formats. New movies available to rent in 4K UHD include “Creed II” and “A Star is Born,” and more coming soon, including “Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald” on March 12, “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” on March 19 and “Aquaman” on March 26.
