ADATA Announces Monthly Sales Report of October 2023 and Q3 2023 Financial Results
Taipei, Taiwan, R.O.C. – November 8th, 2023– Benefited from the recovery of memory prices and customer restocking, ADATA’s consolidated sales achieved NT$3.79 billion in October 2023, marking a record high in the past 13 years. It represented a 39.59% increase year-over-year and a rise of 13.43% month-over-month. Accumulated consolidated sales from January through October were NT$26.46 billion.
Meanwhile, ADATA delivered solid financial results for the third quarter of 2023. The company’s revenue of NT$8.6 billion for the quarter showed a 25.63% growth quarter-over-quarter. The gross margin reached 18.51%, representing an improvement from 15.46% in the second quarter, showing an increase of 6 percentage points compared to 12.32% of Q3 2022. Operating profit reached NT$517 million, with a notable 264.51% increase quarter-over-quarter and a substantial 182.81% rise year-over-year. Net income of NT$426 million and net income attributable to shareholders of the parent of NT$414 million both reflected remarkable growth of 147.76% and 190.93%, respectively, compared to the same period last year. Based on 265 million outstanding shares, EPS was NT$1.57.
For first three quarters of 2023, the company’s revenue amounted to NT$22.66 billion, with a gross margin of 15.37%. The net income totaled NT$767 million, while net income attributable to shareholders of the parent was NT$705 million, with an EPS of NT$2.68.
