NOVEMBER 14, 2024 – Nextorage Corporation (CEO: Honda Katsuyuki, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa Prefecture) will release the CFexpress Type A memory card “NX-A2SE Series 1,024 GB / 512 GB” and the CFexpress Type A dedicated card reader “NX-SA1PRO” on Monday, November 18th, and the “NX-A2SE Series 256 GB” from mid-December on Amazon.

Supports the latest standards and has the highest write and read speeds in its class
The NX-A2SE series is a CFexpress Type A memory card that supports the next-generation CFexpress 4.0 standard and achieves the highest transfer speed in its class. It achieves a maximum read speed of 1,900 MB/s [1] , and when used in conjunction with the CFexpress 4.0-compatible CFexpress Type A dedicated card reader (NX-SA1PRO), it dramatically shortens the transfer time of high-capacity data during data transfer and editing after shooting, improving workflow efficiency.
In addition, the CFexpress 4.0 standard is backward compatible with CFexpress 2.0, so you can use it with confidence with CFexpress 2.0-compatible host devices. It is possible to shoot high-speed, stable continuous still images and record high-quality videos, just like the conventional NX-A1SE series.
*When using devices that do not support CFexpress 4.0, data will be transferred using the CFexpress 2.0 standard.
Supports stable video recording with VPG200 compatibility
All capacities are compliant with the Video Performance Guarantee (VGP)200 standard established by the CompactFlash® Association, and a minimum sustained write speed of 200 MB/s is guaranteed. When used with a camera that supports VGP200, frame drops are minimized even when shooting 4K or 8K video, supporting stable video recording.

Unique heat sink structure stabilizes high-speed transfer
To support the high-speed performance of CFexpress 4.0, we developed a unique heat sink structure that improves the cooling performance inside the main unit. It effectively suppresses the temperature rise of the card body and card reader that accompanies the increasing speed of each standard, such as CFexpress 4.0 and USB 40Gbps. In addition, by minimizing the occurrence of thermal throttling*, it is possible to achieve high-speed and stable data transfer and significantly improve work efficiency.
