Demand Growth Fuels My Eye Media Expansion

My Eye Media announced it will meet growing demand for its services by doubling its footprint to a total of 12,000 square feet in the heart of the postproduction industry in Southern California.

According to the statement, Michael Kadenacy, My Eye Media’s founder and CEO, said the additional space, a mirror-image, multi-use building that is physically connected to My Eye Media’s existing facility, will enable the company to expand its infrastructure, grow existing product lines and roll out additional ones in the months ahead.

“We’re very fortunate that 2010 has been a year of explosive growth for us,” Kadenacy said. “We were bursting at the seams, so it was clearly time to make the commitment to a larger space. When the build-out is complete, My Eye Media’s already state-of-the-art digital facility will expand to 12,000 square feet of contiguous space. We believe our long dedication to building our own robust internal digital infrastructure makes us unique in the testing industry.”

Kadenacy said My Eye Media is expanding its facility to make room for increased demand in the technical evaluation of digital media content destined for mobile devices, web portals, Video on Demand and other digital entertainment platforms. In addition, the company is expanding 3-qual, a service line that combines proprietary 3D processes and workflows with state-of-the-art 3D testing and qualification suites.

“We’re also building new QC bays and increasing our office space in order to continue to provide our clients with the highest level of customer service in the industry,” Kadenacy said.

The decision to expand the facility in the city of Burbank was an easy one, according to company president Craig Leener.

“We love doing business in Burbank because it puts us in close proximity to the studios and major post facilities with whom we do business,” Leener said. “The city’s responsiveness in helping us to expand our company has been second to none. It’s a great partnership.”
