Santa Clara, Calif., August 4, 2011—DisplaySearch today revealed the final agenda for its upcoming Emerging Display Technologies Conference, which will be held August 16-17, 2011 in San Jose, California. Kicking off this year’s conference, a keynote address will be delivered by Eileen Tanghal, Investment Director for Applied Ventures.
“Now in its third year, we have expanded the Emerging Display Technologies Conference to a two-day format, and added a speaker demonstration area,” noted Paul Semenza, Senior Vice President of DisplaySearch. “Our speakers will be covering a variety of exciting display-related technologies in detail, as well as advanced materials for displays and lighting applications.”

Emerging Technologies from an Investor’s Perspective: Eileen Tanghal, Investment Director for Applied Ventures
In her position at Applied Ventures, Tanghal is responsible for identifying, recommending and managing venture capital investments in lighting and displays. During her address, she will focus on the aspects of displays and lighting that are attractive to investors, how emerging technologies can break into entrenched markets and her opinions on the most effective path for Western start-up companies to bring their technologies to market.
The Emerging Display Technologies Conference will feature more than 20 presentations by DisplaySearch global analysts in addition to industry leaders who will present their viewpoints and perspectives on the industry.
