Toshiba Combines U.S. Subsidiaries

Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. (TAIS) and Toshiba America Consumer Products, L.L.C. (TACP) announced that they will be unified into a single operating company. According to the statement, headquartered in Irvine, Calif., TAIS markets and sells information technology products, including laptop computers, storage devices, telephone systems and industrial camera products in the U.S.

Rimage Corporation reported operating results for its first quarter of 2010 ended March 31, 2010. According to the statement, Rimage registered a profit of $695,000 ($0.07/share), down from $1.185 million ($0.13/share) in the first quarter of 2009. Sales remained flat at $18.37 million compared to Q1 2009.

Netflix Announces Q1 2010 Results

Netflix, Inc. announced the results for its first quarter ended March 31, 2010. According to the statement, Netflix earned $32.3 million ($0.59/share), compared with $22.4 million ($0.37/share) in the same period in 2009. First quarter revenue increase to $493.7 million, up from $394.1 million in the previous year.
