Toshiba to Bundle Nero Software

Nero announced that Toshiba will include Nero 9 Essentials and Nero BackItUp & Burn Autobackup Essentials on all upcoming notebooks, netbooks and external hard disc drives (eHDDs) distributed in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), enabling customers to backup files, burn CDs, DVDs, and Blu-ray Discs, and sync files and folders.

VER Purchases Ten Panasonic 3D Camcorders

Panasonic Solutions Company announced that Video Equipment Rentals (VER) has purchased 10 Panasonic AG-3DA1 professional quality, fully-integrated Full HD 3D camcorders. According to the statement, VER will take delivery of the 3D camcorders in the early fall, and will immediately support rentals of the product from its locations in major markets throughout the country.

Netflix Inks Distribution Deal with Universal

Universal Studios Home Entertainment and Netflix, Inc. announced agreements covering the distribution of Universal new release DVD and Blu-ray titles at Netflix while providing an expanded selection of the studio’s movies that can be streamed from Netflix to TVs and computers.
