DENON® PROFESSIONAL NOW SHIPPING ITS DBP-2012UDCIP AND DBP-1611UDP UNIVERSAL AUDIO/VIDEO BLU-RAY PLAYERS
ITASCA, IL, June 1, 2011 — Denon® Professional is now shipping its DBP-2012UDCIP and DBP-1611UDP universal audio/video Blu-ray players, designed for a wide range of commercial, business and educational applications. Both models provide exceptional video and audio quality along with a host of versatile features.
The DBP-2012UDCIP (with RS-232c) and the DBP-1611UDP play back Blu-ray, DVD-Video, DVD-Audio, Super Audio CD and CD Audio discs, along with a variety of compressed audio and video formats from disc or via a convenient front-panel USB connection. Both models have Ethernet ports that enable delivery of online content including YouTube™ and Netflix video distribution without a PC, as well as access to multimedia content from a computer or NAS (Network Attached Storage) device. Additionally, both units are able to read Kodak Picture CD format.
Both players are designed to deliver exceptional video and audio quality. Both support Blu-ray 3D™ playback, as well as HDMI™ 1080p/24-bit video with Deep Color and x.v Color support, and 3D digital video noise reduction. Both models provide BD-Live Profile 2.0, support, and include an HDMI Source Direct mode to output the native resolution of a Blu-ray Disc.
The players provide built-in Dolby® TrueHD, Dolby and DTS-HD Master Audio™ decoding, and can output these formats via its HDMI output or included 7.1-channel analog outputs (DBP-2012UDCIP). Additionally, the DBP-1611UDP uses 24-bit/192kHz audio D/A converters for high-resolution audio reproduction.
The Denon DBP-2012UDCIP includes an RS-232c port, making it perfect for systems integrators and contractors seeking a universal player that offers integration and full management with any Crestron™, AMX™ or other compatible third-party control system. The DBP-2012UDCIP’s additional step-up features include HDMI 1.4a compatibility with support for CEC (Consumer Electronics Control) functionality; 32-bit/192kHz audio D/A converters; a 12-bit video D/A converter; and an Advanced High-Bit I/P Scaler for exceptional picture detail and color depth.
Navigating both players is easy thanks to their on-screen Graphical User Interface (GUI) and included Glo-key IR remote control. The DBP-2012UDCIP and DBP-1611UDP have a Remote In/Out connection that enables integration with other Denon components, and both players come with a 3RU rack-mount kit for standard 19-inch rack installation.
