This contract extends Microtech Systems, Inc.’s penetration into the federal sector to offer its market-leading disc publishing and disc duplicating equipment to a wide range of agencies and government users.

Foster City, CA — October 19, 2012 — Microtech Systems, a global leader in digital CD/DVD/Blu-ray Disc™ publishing systems, announces the five year contract extension of their General Services Administration IT Schedule 70 Contract GS-35F-0005N. IT Schedule 70 is the largest and most widely used acquisition vehicle in the federal government and allows government entities to receive a substantial discount on technology products and services. This contract gives Microtech Systems the ability to offer its market-leading disc publishing and disc duplicating equipment and services to the federal government.

“The federal government continues to be one of our most strategic markets and the GSA contract extension is key in our ability to continue providing solutions to many government customers who have depended on Microtech Systems for many years,” said Corwin Nichols, CEO of Microtech Systems, Inc.

Microtech Systems, Inc. was originally awarded this contract in October of 2002 and is listed under the contract number GS-35F-0005N. To expedite government purchases, Microtech Systems, Inc. has also made its products available on GSA Advantage!® (http://www.gsaadvantage.gov), the government’s electronic ordering system.

According to Microtech Systems, Inc.’s GSA Contractor, Dylan McMahan, “Establishing a GSA Schedule Contract requires a solid understanding and in-depth knowledge of government contracts and regulations. Microtech’s GSA contract extension is a result of a rigorous multi-part process in which the General Services Administration evaluated our professional capabilities, organizational structure, performance history, and customer satisfaction. We are excited that Microtech continues to be authorized under this vehicle to continue selling directly to local, state, and federal government entities.”
