SANTA CLARA, Calif., July 11, 2018 — Flash Memory Summit (FMS), to be held August 7-9 at the Santa Clara Convention Center, features 16 keynotes that will bring attendees up-to-date on what leading flash players are planning. Major company keynoters include Huawei, Intel, Marvell, Micron, Microsemi, SK hynix, Solarflare, Toshiba, Verizon, Western Digital, and Xilinx. In addition, prominent flash customer Verizon, startups NGD Systems, ScaleFlux, and Smart IOPS, and newcomers Shannon Systems and Yangtze River Technologies will share their latest insight. Keynotes are free to all attendees at this can’t miss industry event.

According to Chuck Sobey, FMS Conference Chair, “The FMS keynotes give attendees a chance to find out what all the major players are thinking and planning. Presenters will discuss advances such as persistent memory, 3D flash and 3D XPoint™, NVMe, NVMe over fabrics (NVMe-oF), computational storage, and open-channel SSDs. Other sessions will describe new flash applications in autonomous systems (including self-driving cars), artificial intelligence, machine learning, virtual and augmented reality, and cognitive computing.” Intel promises a key technology announcement. To promote the new technology, Intel will lead additional sessions that provide further details and allow for extensive discussion.
