The long wait appears to be coming to an end for documented claimants in the Canadian optical disc drive (CD/DVD/BD) price-fixing class action lawsuit.

According to a new notice posted on the claims administrator’s (Verita/Ricepoint) website, “documented claim adjudications have been completed and we are currently preparing to distribute payments to approved documented claims. Please note, due to the Canadian Union of Postal Workers strike, regular mail delivery via Canada Post has been halted. Payments will be sent after the strike has been resolved. Please check this website for updates on the status of payments.”
