Announcement of Pioneer BD Drive Utility Update for Blu-ray Drive Customers
~ Added music CD care mode ~
Thank you very much for using our products.
We have released the latest version of “Pioneer BD Drive Utility” Ver. 1.3.1, which allows you to configure various functions of Pioneer BD Drive.
This update adds a new feature, “Music CD Care Mode” (applicable to the following models).
“Music CD care mode” is a function that reduces the load on the disc by slowing down the rotation of the disc and suppressing centrifugal force.
Important CDs such as high-quality CDs such as “SHM-CD (Super High Material CD)” and rental CDs used by various users whose discs may have invisible deterioration. When using old music CDs, we recommend turning on “Music CD care mode”.
*When “Music CD care mode” is on, the maximum playback speed of music CDs is 24x to reduce the burden on the disc.
*”Music CD care mode” is turned off by default. This function can be set using the included Pioneer BD Drive Utility.
*”Music CD care mode” can be used by updating to the latest firmware.
*Not supported by BD Drive Utility Lite for Mac.

• Some changes have been made to the UI and the display has been improved to make it easier to understand supported functions.
