A number of readers have contacted us to see if we know when PROMISE Technology will begin shipping its new Thunderbolt-enabled Pegasus hardware RAID for Mac OS X.

Lamentably, there’s nothing new to report. Contacted today, a spokesperson tells us that the company is still working out release dates and pricing for its hotly anticipated Pegasus R4 (four bay) and R6 (six bay) Direct Attached Storage (DAS) models.
