ALCO Electronics, Inc. is launching its new RCA BRC3108 and BRC3109 portable Blu-ray Disc (BD) players in the U.S.

According to published details, each unit plays 8 and 12 cm discs (Blu-ray, DVD, CD), features BONUSVIEW capability, a 16:9 10″ widescreen LCD display, composite and HDMI A/V output, two headphone jacks, four-hour rechargeable battery, stereo speakers, full function remote control, car and AC power adapters as well as a carrying bag with a headrest mounting kit.

The BRC3109 includes USB and ethernet ports that, according to the company, may allow the unit to be upgraded to BD-Live operation.
