SONY ANNOUNCES LATEST CONTENT TO ENHANCE ITS INTERNET-BASED BRAVIA® INTERNET VIDEO PLATFORM

Toronto, February 17, 2011 – Sony of Canada Ltd. is pleased to announce that Netflix will soon be offered through the BRAVIA® Internet Video platform on all 2011 EX Series, NX Series and select HX Series* models, Blu-ray Disc™ players** and Blu-ray Disc Home Theatre systems*** in Spring 2011.

Netflix, a third party online service providing unlimited access to movies and television episodes for a single monthly charge of $7.99, is expanding its service in Canada and will be available on Sony BRAVIA Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) models by April 2011.

With BRAVIA Internet Video-capable HDTVs, users can enjoy one of the largest collections of premium and free on-demand entertainment directly on their HDTV. Through an existing broadband connection, users can access online video, music, and content from over

25 providers including YouTube™, Sports Illustrated, Slacker, Epicurious.com, Concierge.com, Style.com, and Dailymotion. Additionally, BRAVIA’s Internet Widgets feature allows users to access and view their Facebook®, Twitter®, and Flickr® accounts!

Sony BRAVIA Internet Video-capable HDTVs, Blu-ray Disc players and Blu-ray Disc Home Theatre systems can be purchased online at http://www.sony.ca/IPTV/, Sony Style retail stores, and at Sony authorized retailers across the country.
