Panasonic Corporation announced that it will launch six new Blu-ray Disc (BD) / DVD recorders compatible with the new BDXL format. According to the statement, the new DMR-BWT3100 (2TB HDD), DMR-BWT2100 (1TB HDD), DMR-BWT1100 (500GB HDD), DMR-BW890 (1TB HDD), DMR-BW690 (500GB HDD) and DMR-BR590 (500GB HDD) will be available in Japan on September 15, 2010.
