Taiyo Yuden announced that, as of March 18th, recordable optical disc production (CD-R, DVD-R, BD-R) at its That’s Fukushima subsidiary will remain offline until further notice.

Taiyo Yuden announced the earthquake that struck the northern region of Japan on March 11, 2011 may affect shipments from its That’s Fukushima subsidiary, which manufacturers recordable CD (CD-R), DVD (DVD±R) and Blu-ray (BD-R) discs.
