Pioneer Ships Blu-ray 3D Players

Pioneer Electronics (USA) Inc. announced that it is now shipping its first line of Blu-ray 3D players, which includes the $299 BDP-430 and two Elite models ($399 BDP-41FD, $499 BDP-43FD).

DPI and Mechdyne Unveil 3D Media Servers

Digital Projection International (DPI) and Mechdyne Corporation announced two new 3D-enabled media servers at CEDIA Expo 2010. According to the statement, DPI’s Dimension 3D costs less than $20,000 and the Dimension 3D Ultra starts at under $50,000.

Mitsubishi Launches SXRD Diamond 3D Projector

Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America’s Presentation Products Division announced its newest Diamond 3D 1080p full HD home theater projector at CEDIA Expo 2010. According to a Mitsubishi spokesperson, pricing for the Diamond 3D has yet to be set and the projector will be available in late Oct. 2010.

JVC Launches Six D-ILA 3D Projectors

JVC U.S.A. announced six new 3D-enabled D-ILA projectors at CEDIA EXPO 2010. According to the statement, the new projectors are the Reference Series DLA-RS60 ($11,995), DLA-RS50 ($7,995) and DLA-RS40 ($4,495), to be marketed by JVC’s Professional Products Group, and the Procision Series DLA-X9 ($11,995), DLA-X7 ($7,995) and DLA-X3 ($4,495), to be available through JVC’s Consumer …
