Moody’s Downgrades Cinram

Moody’s Investors Service announced that it has downgraded the Probability of Default Rating (PDR) for Cinram International to D from Caa3 as a result of its filing for reorganization under the Companies’ Creditors Arrangements Act (CCAA).

Cinram Hit By Moody’s Downgrade

Moody’s Investors Service announced that it has downgraded the corporate family rating (CFR) and probability of default ratings (PDR) of Cinram International Inc. to Caa3 from Caa1 and Caa2 respectively. Additionally, Moody’s has lowered Cinram’s speculative grade liquidity rating to SGL-4 (poor) from SGL-3 (adequate) and revised the ratings outlook to negative from stable.

Cinram Fined After Worker Injured

The Ontario Ministry of Labour announced that Cinram International was fined $55,000 for violating the province’s Occupational Health and Safety Act after a worker was injured at the company’s facility in Scarborough.
