Mitsubishi Debuts HC4000 HD Home Theater Projector

Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America’s Presentation Products Division announced its new HC4000 DLP high-definition home theater projector at CEDIA Expo 2010. According to the statement, Mitsubishi’s HC4000 is available now for $1,495.

Runco Launches LS-10d and LS-10i DLP Projectors

Runco announced that it is expanding its LightStyle Series with two new 1080p 3-chip DLP projectors, the LS-10d and LS-10i. According to the statement, the LS-10i will be available in October for $21,995 and LS-10d in December for $26,995.

TI Ships DLP Cinema Enhanced 4K Chips

Texas Instruments announced that it has started shipping DLP Cinema Enhanced 4K chips to its licensees, Barco, Christie Digital and NEC. According to the statement, projectors with the DLP Cinema 4K chip are expected to be installed in Q1 2011 and several industry demos are anticipated between now and then by DLP Cinema licensees.

Mitsubishi Takes 3D On The Road

Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America, Inc. (MDEA) announced the launch of its nationwide 3D Experience Tour, which will introduce its lineup of 3D DLP Home Cinema Televisions to U.S. consumers. According to the statement, the tour packs all of Mitsubishi’s 3D TV technology into Mitsubishi’s Mobile Marketing Showroom, a 995 sq. ft. 18-wheeled home theater experience.
