Apple announced a redesigned Mac mini, featuring up to twice the graphics performance, a new HDMI port and a new SD card slot, all in a compact aluminum enclosure. Indefensibly absent from the refresh, however, are build-to-order options for Blu-ray Disc drives (BD-ROM) and recorders (BD-R/RE).
