The International 3D Society (I3DS) announced that it is continuing its 3D University educational series for 3D professionals in association with the Entertainment Technology Center at USC.
The International 3D Society announced the 2010 recipients of its Lumiere Award. According to the statement, recognizing recent accomplishments within the stereoscopic 3D medium, the Lumiere Award will be formally presented during the 3D Technology Awards on Oct. 19, 2010 at Mann’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.
The International 3D Society announced that, in association with the Visual Effects Society, it will present a 2D to 3D conversion panel on June 17, 2010 from 6-9 p.m. at Sony Pictures Imageworks.
