Underwriters Laboratories (UL) announced that it is notifying consumers and retailers that it received a report of fire associated with a Polaroid LCD television (model TDA-03211C) manufactured by the Proview Electronics Company. According to the statement, the television bears an unauthorized UL Listing Mark for the United States and Canada.
