Tandberg Sells Half Million RDX Removable Disk Cartridges

Tandberg Data announced that it has sold more than 180,000 RDX removable disk systems and 500,000 RDX cartridges to OEMs, resellers and distributors worldwide.

According to the statement, as the first company to manufacture and ship RDX technology, Tandberg Data continues to take the lead in launching innovative RDX solutions with its recent introduction of the RDX QuikStor with AccuGuard, a powerful backup and recovery solution that leverages deduplication technology. This new RDX offering from Tandberg Data provides customers with easy and affordable long-term data protection, combined with the benefits of a robust data deduplication engine that increases effective storage capacities by as much as 20 times.
