Testronic Labs Reports Strong End-of-Year and Q1 Results
Profitability, New Services, Growth in Digital Television Put Company in Spotlight

May 11, 2011 (Burbank, CA) Testronic Labs – the recognized global leader in quality assurance services for film and television, games, websites, hardware, and software – is announcing strong results for the 2010 fiscal year and Q1 of 2011. Successful quarters in the second half of 2010 and the first quarter of 2011 showed marked year over year growth in both revenue and profits. Emerging from a period of slower earnings, the company has seen growth in all of its business lines and has experienced increased customer demand for its Film and Television Quality Assurance, 3D Testing, Games, and Digital TV Services.

Seth Hallen, who was appointed to the position of Chief Executive Officer in mid-2010 commented, “During a period of very challenging times throughout the global economy, Testronic Labs was able to hold its own during 2008 and 2009. As we entered 2010, the work that we have done to strengthen our unique breadth of services and advance our technological leadership really started to come to fruition, and now we have just come off a strong Q1. In the past year we have seen triple digit growth in the hardware and consultancy work we are doing in Europe with various cable operators and Digital TV providers, as well as growth in our Games Testing Services. Our Film and Television Services sector saw the launch of our new Digital Entertainment Test Lab and new 3D Testing facilities in both the US and UK.”

The first quarter of 2011 saw Testronic Labs pass key milestones in Quality Assurance; the testing of its 5,500th Blu-ray disc SKU (Stock-keeping Units) and the testing of its 75th 3D SKU. Both accomplishments represented an industry record, and confirmed Testronic’s place at the forefront of Quality Assurance testing for the Home Entertainment community.

The 2010 fiscal results were announced in the Annual Report of Testronic’s parent company, Catalis SE. In combination with the Q1 2011 results, they are further indication of Testronic Labs’ leading place in the market and solid position to continue further development throughout 2011. Testronic is set to announce new service offerings in the US and expanded services in Europe and Asia in the coming months.

Hallen noted, “We are always focused on providing outstanding service to our customers, but equally important, Testronic is fervently dedicated to working with our clients to create the most forward-thinking, advanced technologies possible to meet their evolving needs. We have invested in the technology and team to make sure that our clients deliver the finest consumer experience imaginable to their customers, and it is extremely rewarding to do that fairly, expertly, and profitably.”
