VCS (Video Copy Services) officially rebrands as Video Content Solutions; Nashville office now open for business

NASHVILLE, TN — (September 07, 2017) – Revisiting its brand to address the company’s expanded vast array of audio/visual content and broadcast services, Video Copy Services (professionally addressed as “VCS”) has announced its formal name change. The VCS acronym will now represent the company’s broader spectrum of services as “Video Content Solutions.” The Atlanta-based company (founded in 1984) has grown to canvas and cater to the entire United States, providing broadcast, creative, video and film preservations services to some of the largest industries, including but not limited to television, music, film, entertainment, retail, aviation, and faith-based businesses. Their client base includes Turner Broadcasting, The Weather Channel, PBS, Verizon Wireless, Home Depot, Coca-Cola and Delta Airlines, to name a few.

The name change coincides with the establishment of a Nashville office and announcement of executive staff advancements and additions. Emmy award-winning director and longstanding Nashville resident, J. Craig Pulley, has been named VP of Business Development. Pulley will oversee the Nashville Market and operate from the newly-opened VCS Music City location (Skyway Studios, 3201 Dickerson Pike, Nashville, TN 37207, (615) 669-6908). Bob Chirum (based in Seattle) has been promoted to VP of Operations. Chirum, who has been in the broadcasting/distribution business since 1988, was instrumental in launching the expanded services now offered by VCS (read executive bios here).

“We’ve outgrown our original moniker. Technology, and the media landscape overall, has changed rapidly over the last thirty-three years. In keeping with innovations and the forecast of video and audio technologies, VCS has upped its game to parallel industry growth,” said George Helms, President. “VCS has revisited and expanded its menu of services to meet the new demands and as a proper introduction to our services, ‘Video Content Solutions’ fits the bill. Whether it’s standard, hi-def, or 4K, our primary goal is to offer the latest cutting-edge solutions for the management and handling of audio/video-based media content.”
