WHDI to Provide Industry Training at CEDIA 2010

Sessions to Demonstrate WHDI Use Cases for Products Coming to Market This Holiday Season

SANTA CLARA, CA–(September 14, 2010) –  WHDI LLC, the organization responsible for managing the WHDI™ (Wireless Home Digital Interface™) standard, today announced it will be providing several educational opportunities at the upcoming CEDIA Expo, September 22-26, 2010 in Atlanta, GA. The CEDIA Expo is the preeminent tradeshow for the residential electronic systems industry. At the CEDIA EXPO WHDI will be educating attendees on the WHDI standard and how WHDI is implemented.

Times of Events:

* On Wednesday, September 22 at 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. WHDI president Leslie Chard will be a panelist on the “HDMI Hot Seat: HDMI Integration Issues” panel; it’s part of CEDIA’s “Future Technology Discussions.”

* On Friday, September 24 at 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. WHDI will be hosting “The Future of Wireless A/V Distribution in the Home” educational training seminar; the course will be lead by Leslie Chard and Noam Geri VP of marketing for WHDI promoter AMIMON. The session will cover the pros and cons of the latest wireless technologies, their use cases and current and future products.
